Baby Boomers were seen “clowning around” at their recent monthly gathering which had the circus theme “Under the Big Top”. Everyone had the opportunity to display their circus skills while participating in a variety of activities including juggling, walking on stilts, spinning plates and walking the “tightrope”. It was a night to reminisce and share experiences of going to the circus and to reflect on how circuses have changed over the years, both recently and since their origins in Roman times.

This social group for Baby Boomers meets at 7pm at the church on the second Saturday of every month. Each monthly event usually includes a variety of activities on a different theme or topic. The evenings are free of charge. For more information contact Peter and Caryn (9876 1611) or Geoff (0408 121 690).
