Other Church Activities
Discover more about the Bible, yourself and others. A series of Bible Study takes place during school term time. Each session is conducted by Elders in the church and a range of topics is covered throughout the year. It takes place each Monday during term time at 7.30pm. The venue is Yurana House, 3 Kitchener Road, Pennant Hills.
A time for the ladies to enjoy, learn and laugh together. They meet on the fourth Tuesday morning at 10.00am for a cup of tea and talk. This is a valuable time for discussion, learning and friendship. Some people have been involved almost as long as the church has been on the site, but newcomers are always welcome so if you feel like getting out for a couple of hours feel free to drop in and say hello. The meeting is the fourth Tuesday of each month at 10.30 am usually in the small meeting room.
Keyboard, organ and vocalists, flutes, guitars, a violin and euphonium. A wonderful eclectic group enjoy practicing together for the Sunday morning service. If you feel like joining in with your own musical talent, please email with your details. Alternate Thursday evenings in the church.
This is a social time for adults usually with delicious food! The program for the year is full of variety including Interesting Talks, Theme Nights and ‘Not so challenging’ games and quizzes. At times the Saturday nights change to Monday daytime for visits and picnics in and around our wonderful city. The first Saturday of each month excluding January at 7.30 pm, usually in the church hall.
Over the years the Congregation has conducted a wide range of seminar and held days of reflection. One of the biggest events ever held was a three day symposium on ‘Ministry to the Ageing’. An outcome of this is our MemoryLink project.
